Major Gifts Officer Opera Omaha seeks a Major Gifts Officer to educate, guide and support staff and volunteers in major gifts fundraising, identify prospective major donors, and participate in developing and implementing strategies for cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. MGO will also carry and develop his/her own portfolio of Major Gift Donors. Candidates must be experienced in successful Major Gift fundraising with excellent oral and written communications and interpersonal skills. Passion for the arts – especially opera - is desirable. Minimum of 5 years fundraising experience and BA/BS are preferred. CFRE is a plus. APAP Announces Cultural Exchange Fund Travel Subsidy Program Funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and administered by Arts Presenters, the CEF is a travel subsidy program awarding grants from $2k - $10k to assist US-based presenters working to build partnerships and collaborations with international touring artists, companies, and their collaborators. In promoting the display of work by artists from around the world in its own cultural context, APAP strongly encourages travel to the the following locations: the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
